ØyVAR is the first in Norway to test a new drinking water treatment method designed to deliver even safer and more consistent water quality. The innovative technology is being piloted at one of the facilities in Øygarden, with the aim of reducing unwanted substances and enhancing the taste of the water.
We are collaborating with the local water utility ØyVAR on the project “UV Absorption Measurement for Monitoring and Control of Water Treatment Plants,” supported by the Norwegian Institute of Public Health’s program for technology development in the water sector.
